Why is interprofessional education important?
The mission of the Faculty of Health Sciences at McMaster University highlights the importance of collaboration. We believe that students who gain a better understanding and appreciation of one another’s roles in the provision of health care services, and who learn to respect and value the input of other disciplines in the team decision making process, will be better prepared for interprofessional collaboration following graduation.
